Nicki Minaj wrestles intelligence, loses

By THOMAS REICH | SEP 12, 2018

Nicki Minaj is a fucking idiot.

We all remember all the stupid stuff she's said in the past, but this has to top it all off.

"!!!!!!New Yorkers & all NYCHA residents its time to get JUSTICE, VOTE Thur. Sept. 13 for Gov. Cuomo, Lt. Gov. Hochul & Tish James.  They know how to work for the people to make NY even GREATER.  Spread the word.  See you at the Polls!!!!!!" Minaj tweeted.

She actually fully endorsed the uber-corrupt Andrew Cuomo.

There are so many things that I love about this.

First, I love how terribly incoherent she is.

Secondly, I love how excited she is over Andrew Cuomo. Andrew Cuomo. She's getting excited over the human embodiment of stale bread. ("I'll have you know that he's a Muslim, Jewish, black, gay, disabled woman seeking to control her own body!")

Lastly, I love how she's saying this as if Cuomo isn't already governor and he's gonna bring great changes once he's elected.

Hey, Nicki.…

LGBT rights group endorses straight Corporate Dems over LGBT challengers

By THOMAS REICH | SEP 02, 2018

The Human Rights Campaign has endorsed incumbent Tom Carper in the Senate race in Delaware.

Carper (who also beats his wife) might be the one of the worst Senate Democrats (along with Joe Manchin, Dianne Feinstein, Bob Menendez, Chuck Schumer - actually most of them are pretty bad, so that's not saying much). He voted for the Iraq War (strike one, you're out), the Keystone pipeline, and the Bank Lobbyist Act. He opposes Medicare for All and a living wage. He was also the only Democrat still in the Senate to vote for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh (the authoritarian, anti-civil liberties, anti-due process judge soon to be our next Supreme Court Justice) to be a judge on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals in 2006.

Not only that, but while he was Governor of Delaware, he signed a law defining "marriage as between a man and a woman," and didn't fully support same-sex marriage until 2013.

Wanna know what really adds insult to injury? They…

Our Revolution finally endorses Bill Cimbrelo

By THOMAS REICH | SEP 01, 2018

Just days before the MA-09 primary, Our Revolution finally endorsed Bill Cimbrelo, the democratic socialist running against corporate Dem Bill Keating who called for Dubya to be prosecuted.

I've been trying to get OR (and Justice Democrats) to endorse him for a while, and seemingly to no avail. And he informed me that him and his team have been trying too.

And now we're finally here. OR has finally budged.

With the help of OR, Bill has a better chance at knocking down Keating.

"Small government" conservatives call for gigantic government

By THOMAS REICH | SEP 01, 2018
Fox News just sunk to a new level of authoritarian snowflakism.
Steve Hilton, former director of strategy for disgraced British Prime Minister David Cameron (obviously an awesome strategist), went on The Story with Martha MacCallum on Fox News to talk about the recent shooting at a Madden tournament in Jacksonville, Florida, and he advocated for - get this - banning kids from playing video games and using smartphones.
"When we think of other risks to children and their health - for example, smoking - we actually take action and we ban those things for young people, and I think that there's a role for that now for things like overuse of smartphones and games," said Hilton. "We can step in and say, 'This is not supposed to be how kids should be raised,' and we could do something about it."
"Yeah, I think you're so right," said McCallum. "You know I think people used to smoke cigarettes at 13, 14 years old, now…

Did #OpDeSanitize work?

By THOMAS REICH | AUG 22, 2018

Things have changed since I talked about #OpDeSanitize.

It would seem that MSNBC and even CNN (which lied about WMD's to push us into the Iraq War) have covered the Yemen crisis.

MSNBC's Chris Hayes did a segment over the savages - er, I mean, Saudis - bombing a school bus full of children in Yemen with a bomb we sold to them, killing at least 43. This was the first time that MSNBC mentioned Yemen in more than a year.

It appears that even CNN (the cheerleaders for Trump bombing Syria) covered this.

So did #OpDeSanitize actually work?

Yes. Yes it did.

An online movement entirely made up of a few concerned, libertarian-minded citizens was actually able to pressure corporate media into covering war crimes that our government is partaking in.

Had the movement not taken off, it would be very unlikely that the mainstream media would cover this very real humanitarian crisis.

But we the people were actually able to pressure the media into doing their job.

MSM praising Christine Hallquist just because she's transgender

By THOMAS REICH | AUG 18, 2018

Christine Hallquist won the Democratic primary for governor in Vermont, making her the first transgender nominee from a major party in a gubernatorial race.

The mainstream media is praising her for this fact.

This is absolutely pathetic.

Don't get me wrong. I actually support Hallquist, but not because she's transgender.

She's a Justice Democrat. She supports single-payer healthcare, tuition-free college, a living wage, paid leave, criminal justice reform, and campaign finance reform.

The mainstream media is playing into identity politics and completely ignoring the progressive policies that she fights for.

They did the same thing with Rashida Tlaib, who won the MI-13 primary, hailing her for potentially being the first Muslim woman in the House, instead of for her progressive platform.

Deedra Abboud is a Muslim woman who's running for Senate in Arizona. Kerri Evelyn Harris is a black lesbian who's running for Senate in Delaware. Both of the…

Bill Cimbrelo calls for Bush administration to be prosecuted

By THOMAS REICH | AUG 18, 2018

Bill Cimbrelo is stepping in hot water with the Establishment.

So you know he's doing something right.

On Thursday, he tweeted a poll.

"Should there be a Congressional hearing to prosecute and convict the perpetrators of the lies and deceptions (former Pres. Bush et al.) leading up to the slaughter of 1000's of innocent Iraqis and our US Military, so others do not continue to act with impunity[?]" Cimbrelo tweeted.

At least 420 of the total 428 who answered the poll answered yes (including myself, of course). That means 98% agreed that we should prosecute Dubya and his administration for lying and pushing us into the Iraq War, which killed around 200,000 Iraqi civilians.

Cimbrelo asked whether or not we should prosecute them, so he didn't specifically call for their prosecution.

But we know what he stands for. We know that he was expecting most people to say yes. We know what he was suggesting.

He did what very few Democratic politicians wo…
